Sterling Ravy has more than 10 years of experience in diversified professional work environments encompassing corporate, entrepreneurial, military, and nonprofit settings. His most recent experience includes managing the full-cycle recruiting effort for Randstad USA’s Tysons Corner office, which has a current portfolio of 50+ clients in Fairfax County, Va. In addition, Ravy has managed the exam eligibility evaluation process for domestic (U.S.) candidates testing for the HR Certification Institute’s core certifications — PHR, SPHR and GPHR.
Ravy currently is pursuing his master’s degree in organization development and change from Pennsylvania State University. He completed his undergraduate degree at George Mason University, with a concentration in entrepreneurship and organization development. During his final semester at George Mason, Ravy wrote a compelling academic research thesis on the topic of organizational learning. In this paper, he tackled the seeming disparate subjects of globalization, organization development and entrepreneurship and investigated each in relation to an organization’s ability to adapt, learn and ultimately thrive in today’s business environment.
