SPG coaches are both organizational psychologists and seasoned business people who believe in maximizing performance and supporting clients in realizing potential. Several SPG coaches hold credentials with the International Coach Federation (ICF) and have written extensively on the topic of coaching. Most recently, SPG Partners Virginia Bianco-Mathis and Lisa Nabors rewrote the Coaching Certificate course for the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD), and SPG Associate Cynthia Roman has completed a chapter which will be published in the upcoming HRD Handbook (Jossey-Bass, 2014). Previous publications by SPG Partners include Organizational Coaching: Building Relationships and Programs That Drive Results, ASTD Press, 2008, The Dialogue Deck, 2006, and Leading From the Inside Out: A Coaching Model, (Sage Publications, Spring, 2002).
SPG coaches offer a combination of practical business experience and academic credentials that allow us to serve our clients and help them achieve their desired results. Our coaching approach is future-focused, data-based, action-oriented, and results-driven. Whether the intention is expanding leadership skill sets, improving performance, clarifying personal purpose and goals, developing an effective team, or moving successfully through transition, SPG coaches support clients as they identify coachable results, define supports in their environments, generate and select alternative behaviors, implement specific actions, track progress, and evaluate results.
